Denise Lee Whitehouse, 51, of Fort Morgan, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 29th, 2020 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan.

Denise was born February 16, 1969 in Canoga Park, California to Gerald and Christine (Corral) Vlha. She attended Our Lady Of Fatima School. She finished her high school years in Colorado and graduated from Golden High School in 1986. She married Charles Whitehouse on September 14, 1996 in Denver. The two have resided in Morgan County for the last 16 years. Charles and Denise have two sons, Alex and Keith, whom Denise cherished deeply.

Denise attended Barns Business School and received a degree in Business Management. She then continued her education at Morgan Community College and received her nursing assistant degree. She had a deep passion for helping and caring for others. At the time of her passing, she was managing the Emerald RV Park in Fort Morgan.

Denise had many hobbies that consisted of crafting, reading, and loving her three dogs, Meg, Rusty, and Jasmine. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She brought joy to everyone she met with her big heart and kind words. She would always offer her love and hugs to anyone that was in need. Her smile was contagious, her laugh is unforgettable, and her soul is indescribable. She was beautiful, humble, and kind. She will be missed and never forgotten.

Denise is survived by her husband, Charles Whitehouse; sons, Alex Whitehouse and spouse, Alexis Brown, all of Fort Morgan, and Keith Beyer of Sterling; her parents, Bill and Christine (Corral) Parsons of Sahuarita, AZ; nephew, Randy Azevedo and spouse, Kendra of Fort Morgan, as well as countless friends and extended family.

Denise was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Vlha; and her grandparents, Ed and Lee Corral.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service is being planned for a future date and will be announced accordingly.
