Diana S. Hernandez, 64, life–long resident of Brush, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 2, 1954, in Brush to Ralph & Donna Schilling.

Diana graduated from Brush High School in 1973.  On March 20, 1977, she married the love of her life, William (Bill) Hernandez in Brush.  Diana and Bill shared 42 loving years together.

Diana worked in many professions to include being a waitress and cook at Donna's Diner and other establishments in Brush, and 23 years as a pharmacy technician at B & B Pharmacy.

Diana enjoyed cooking, sewing, painting, camping, fishing, and spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Bill of Brush; 2 children, Steve (Jennifer) Hernandez of Sterling and Cory (John) Takahashi of Brush; 1 sister, Janine (Dave) Polo of Douglas, WY; 2 brothers, Ronald (Linda) Schilling of Oklahoma City, OK and Randall Schilling of Hillrose; and 4 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kirsten, and Kolby Hernandez and Zachery Anderson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph & Donna; her grandparents, two uncles and two aunts.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019, at 10:00 AM at the Brush United Methodist Church.  Inurnment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
