Diann Widger, of Fort Morgan, passed away May 27th, 2017 following a lengthy illness.   She was born November 6, 1940 and passed away at the age of 76.

Diann was raised on a farm in Dundy County, Nebraska by her parents Ed and Dora Denker.   She attended Dundy County grade school and St. Paul Lutheran School.  She confirmed her faith in Jesus Christ in April of 1954.   She attended high school in Wauneta, Nebraska, where she graduated from in 1958.

Diann married Dean Widger on January 30, 1961. She gave birth to five children: Doug, Darla, Don, and Darci, and Darlinda- who died at birth.

She enjoyed raising her children, Husker Football, and her Lord Jesus.

Diann was preceded in death by her two brothers and survived by her husband Dean, of Fort Morgan, and her sister, Delores Taylor of Imperial, Nebraska.   She also has two daughters in law and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Morgan at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, May 31st. Inurnment will follow in Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations would be made to Trinity Lutheran Church – care of "Trinity Radio Broadcast", as this is where Diann and many others have received spiritual encouragement.
