Dolores Jean Hay, 87, long time area resident, died on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at The Sanctuary church in Fort Morgan.

She was born June 21, 1933 in Bird City, KS to Allen & Gaynelle (Thomas) Overturf. Dolores married Robert Gene Hay.

Dolores was very active in her church at The Sanctuary. She was a motherly figure to everyone. She enjoyed cooking, horses, and gardening. Dolores really loved her country.

Dolores is survived by her son, Randy Hay of Fort Morgan; step son, Charles "Skip" Hay; sister in-law, Ann Overturf; and three grandchildren, Pryce Hay, Raven Hay, and Asia Dirks.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert Gene Hay.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan.
