Obituary

Dolores (LaLa) Valerie Navarro, 55, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. She was born March 1, 1966 in LaJunta, CO to Juanita (Jenny) Bonill.

Dolores attended New Life Worship Church in Fort Morgan. She loved reading books and crocheting. Dolores enjoyed spending time with her Comadres (you know who you are). She spent 20 plus years of her life working for the health department. She ran different kinds of programs throughout the years that benefited the people of the community, which made her love her work even more. She was recently employed at Mavericks before her passing where she grew very fond of her co-workers. The thing that brought the biggest smile to Dolores's face was Spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Dolores is survived by her 4 children, Angel (Katrina) Navarro, Natasha (Tyrone) Ortiz, Manuel Reyes-Hernandez Jr, Selisha Reyes-Hernandez; Seven grandkids, Mezmarae, Izeiah, Drevin, Saveah Ortiz, Novaleah Reyes, Angel (AJ), Sawyer Navarro; her partner in life, Manuel Reyes-Quinonez; three brothers, Joe Hernandez, Robert (Bob) Madrid, Pana Madrid, and her two sisters, Rosalia Madrid and Arlene Madrid.

Dolores is preceded in death by her mother, Juanita (Jenny) Bonilla; grandmother, Eustacia (Nash) Madrid; brothers, Raymond D Hernandez Jr., Larry (Flaco) Madrid, Pedro Madrid, and her sister, Debra (Bimbo) Madrid.

A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be on Thursday, March 3 at 6 PM at Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan. A funeral service will be held on Friday March 4, 2022 at Life Fellowship Church at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
