Doloris "Tripie" Wingstrom, 85 life long resident of Ft. Morgan, died Sunday evening at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Ft. Morgan. She was born May 11, 1922 in Ft. Morgan to Merle and Mayme (McMullen) Triplett. She married Frederick Wingstrom November 24, 1940 in Imperial, NE. She drove a bus for the Ft. Morgan school district for 32 years before retiring. She enjoyed embroidering, playing games, fishing, Hunting, camping, and traveling. She especial enjoyed watching the Broncos. She was a member of the First Christian Church, and a past Matron of the Rebecca Lodge. She is survived by her children Janie Dotson and Dale Wingstrom both of Ft. Morgan, and Fred Wingstrom of Rifle, one sister, Betty Bretty of Littleton, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick, an infant son, Merle E. Wingstrom, one sister, Eva Mae Hudson, and her parents. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3:30 to 5:30 at the Heer Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the Heer Mortuary Chapel with interment to follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
