Obituary

DONALD BENJAMIN DILL, 82, lifelong resident of Fort Morgan, died Friday afternoon, November 9, 2007 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born in Fort Morgan on April 28, 1925 to John & Catherine (Reiswig) Dill. He married Wilma Meininger on December 8, 1946 at the Christ Congregational Church in Fort Morgan. Mr. Dill farmed in Fort Morgan for the majority of his life. Dill was a member of Christ Congregational Church in Fort Morgan where he had also served as Trustee and was also a life member of BPOE Lodge #1143, Fort Morgan. He especially enjoyed farming and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Dill is survived by his wife, Wilma Dill and son, Douglas Dill, both of Fort Morgan; his daughter, Cynthia Yearous of Wray; two sisters, Bertha Slocum of Brighton and Dorothy Bollig of Arvada; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by infant twin sisters and his parents. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Christ Congregational Church, 730 Ensign St., Fort Morgan. Inurnment will follow in Serenity Falls Columbarium in Fort Morgan. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Congregational Church. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of arrangements.
