Donald Eugene Frick, 78, lifelong Fort Morgan resident, died Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. Don was born September 19, 1936 in Fort Morgan to Jacob & Marie (Scheidt) Frick. He married Lois Ann Pittman on November 6, 1960 in Loveland. Don worked as a wholesale distributor for the majority of his working years. He was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 2551 and a member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge 1143 and the United Methodist Church in Fort Morgan. Don was also a past volunteer fireman in Fort Morgan. He enjoyed watching old westerns on TV, and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He was an avid Broncos fan. Don is survived by his three sons, Craig (Nancy) Frick, Kyle Frick, and David (Tracy) Frick, all of Fort Morgan; his daughter, Janna Brice of San Diego, CA; his seven grandchildren, Sam, Jacob, Megan, Caitlin, Brianna, Christina, and Dawson; and his great grandson, Lucas. He was preceded in death by eight siblings, his parents, and his wife. A memorial service will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 22nd at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the chapel, followed by military honors.
