Donald W. Jordan, 67, longtime area resident, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at his home in Ft. Morgan. He was born March 5, 1943 in Wichita County, Texas to John and Bernice (Walker) Jordan. He married Neva N. Greathouse in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1973. Don was a member of Moose Lodge in Brush. He enjoyed camping, fishing and reading. Survivors include his wife, Neva Jordan of Fort Morgan; two sons, Donald Wayne Jordan of Texas and Shane Terry Jordan of Fort Morgan; two daughters, Tara Sligar of Bennett, Colorado and Tammy Irene Vretis of Texas; two brothers, Floyd Jordan and Lloyd Jordan, also of Texas; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Don was preceded in death by parents. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 10, 2009 from 2 PM until 5 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Brush. A funeral service will be Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 1:00 PM also at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Interment will follow in Brush Memorial Cemetery.
