Donald Jon Schutter, 70, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at his home in Weldona. He was born November 14, 1951 in Muskegon, MI to John Eugene and Harriet Lou Schutter.

Don married his high school sweetheart, Deborah, and they had twin sons, Donnie and John Ray. Don was a carpenter for the majority of his life, having many accomplishments. He was a happy, fun loving, hardworking man. He had lots of friends and made friends easily. In 2001, Don met Loretta Blasier and they have spent the last 21 years together. Don has lived in Weldona with his son for the last 25 years.

Don is survived by his partner, Loretta Blasier; his sons, John Ray Schutter and Donnie (and wife, Tara) Schutter and their daughter, Tessa Schutter.

He was preceded in death his parents; his wife, Deborah Schutter; and his granddaughter, Kimberly Welch.

There will not be any service. A celebration of life with close friends and family will be held.

Don wanted everyone to know that he loved them, especially his sons and his grandchildren, including Dillion Schutter.
