Donald R. Scott, 72, former Morgan & Washington County resident, passed away November 5, 2006, at lhis home in Lompoc, CA. Don was born January 21, 1934, in Brush, to Raymond & Icil Scott. He earled his bachelor's degree in industrial arts from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and served in the US Army. He and his family made their home in Lompoc, CA in 1970. He retired as an education supervisor from the Justice Department of the Federal Bureau of Prinsons in 1986, after 20 years of service. Don's favorite pastimes included fishing, traveling, and camping. Of utmost importance to Don was his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Ruth Scott of Lompoc; 2 sons, Craig Scott and Mark Scott both of Lompoc; sister, Ilene Simmons of Bailey, CO, brother, Philip Scott of Lindon, CO; and 5 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2006, at the Country Baptist Chapel in Lindon at 10:00 AM. Inurnment will follow in the Glen Cemetery.
