Donald James Snider of Fort Morgan, passed away January 28, 2025. He was born July 29, 1946 In Lamar, CO to Manual and Ruth (Winters) Snider.

Don grew up in Wiley, CO and graduated from high school in 1964. He married Martha Carpenter in Lamar on July 16, 1974. They moved to Wiggins in 1979 and Don worked at Porkarama Pig Farm. In 1988 they moved to Fort Morgan and Don began his career with Riverside Irrigation and Ditch Company where he worked until his death.

Don was a member of the Morgan Church of the Nazarene where he enjoyed singing in the choir and with The Believers group. He enjoyed watching sports and shopping but he especially enjoyed his chickens.

Don is survived by his wife, Martha Lou Snider; his two daughters, Traci Dawn Snider and Heather DeVee Snider; and his grandchildren, Trenton Snider, Trevor Snider, and Aspen Snider-Romero and one great granddaughter, Tara Snider; and his sister, Sherry (Don) Antonio of Sonoita, AZ numerous, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Melinda Nicholl, and Darrell Snider.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 7th at the Morgan Church of Nazarene, 221 W. Seventh Ave. in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
