DONALD G. WATTS, 78, of Fort Morgan, died Monday at his home in Fort Morgan. He was born August 14, 1932 in Worland, WY to Floyd & Minnie (Martin) Watts. He married Dorothy Kappel in San Diego, CA on October 7, 1950. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 until 1953. Mr. & Mrs. Watts moved to Fort Morgan from the Denver area in 1996. Mr. Watts drove truck for the majority of his working years. He was a member of the Elk's Lodge #1143. He was an avid golfer and he enjoyed hunting. Survivors include his two daughters, Cheryl Ryan of Fort Morgan and Jennifer Tetreault of Fairplay; his brother, Floyd Watts Jr. of Gresham, Oregon, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one grandson. Funeral services will be Monday, December 6th at 11:00 AM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the chapel followed by cremation. Inurnment will be in Serenity Falls Columbarium in Fort Morgan on Tuesday, December 7th at 2:00 PM with military honors by the V.F.W. Post 2551.
