Donna Jean Paul, 78, longtime area resident, died Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. Donna was born October 7, 1935 in Harrold, South Dakota to Oscar and Emma (Misterek) Hobert. She moved to this area in 1970 from South Dakota and at one time was a member of the Wiggins Community Church. Donna enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, and quilting. She also liked playing cards, and going to thrift shops. Her family and friends were very important to her. Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Heaton and her husband Terry, of Ft. Morgan, one son, Raymond Paul and his wife Mila, of Greeley, one granddaughter, Megan Rosenbach and her husband Daniel, of Northglenn, and their daughter Madison, a great granddaughter. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, son, Kenneth, daughter, Diane Mock, a sister, Verona Peterson, a brother, Orville Hobert, and her parents. Memorial Services will be Friday, September 19, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the All Saints Lutheran Church in Brush. Inurnment will follow in Memory Gardens in Ft. Morgan. Memorial gifts may be made to either the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush, or to the Alzheimer's Foundation
