Donna Lee Rose, 81, lifetime area resident, died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Valley View Villa in Fort Morgan. She was born December 13, 1931 in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Jacob & Kathrine (Albert) Rusch. Donna attended Fort Morgan schools. She was married to Don Butterfield in 1948 and had 4 children. Donna graduated from cosmetology school in 1968. On October 26, 1979 she was married to Elvin (Al) Rose. Donna was a member of BLP, enjoyed cooking, and loved BINGO. Survivors include three sons, Daniel Butterfield of Dolomite, AL, Don Butterfield of Sidney, NE, Dewey Butterfield of Amarillo, TX, one daughter, Diane Bernstein of Mansfield, OH, one brother Ronnie Rusch of Centennial, CO, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Al Rose, and one brother Kenneth Rusch. Graveside Services will be Friday September 20, 2013 at Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan at 10:00 AM. Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
