DONNA MARIE WRIGHT, 63, died early Monday morning, November 29, 2010 at her home in Log Lane Village. She was born July 10, 1947 in Inglewood, CA to Scott & Irene Marlin. She married Bruce Wright on June 4, 1986 in Grand Junction. Mr. & Mrs. Wright moved to the Fort Morgan area from Grand Junction nearly 15 years ago. Donna served as mayor of Log Lane Village from 2006 to 2008. She also worked at Edward's Flowerland in Fort Morgan for several years. Donna was an avid NASCAR and I-76 Speedway fan. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Wright of Log Lane; two step children, Franklin Bruce Wright of Grand Rapids, MI, and Christine Aline Korver of Pella, IA; her son and daughter, Craig Davis and Karyn Furrow, both of Sedgwick, CO; and one grandson, Colton Parker Davis. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Scott Davis. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Mount View Cemetery in Bennett. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the Heer & Dahl Mortuary, 225 E.
