Dora R. Guzman, 91, longtime Morgan County resident, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020.  She was born June 12, 1928, in Mora, NM to John & Aurelia Herrera.

In her younger years, Dora worked as a care giver.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush.  She enjoyed working word search puzzles, sewing, and fishing.  Her favorite time was spent with her family.

Survivors include her children, Joe, Alex, Felix, Ramon, Jamie, Lucy, Irene, and Benilde; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander, 2 children, and her parents.

A rosary service will be recited on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at 1:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 24 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush.  Inurnment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
