Dorathy V. Daviet, 84, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at her home in Brush. She was born May 9, 1926, in Englewood, CO, to Charles & Phyllis Richard. Dorathy graduated from Englewood High School in 1944. On January 20, 1945, she married Joseph H. Daviet Jr. in Englewood. In 1975 the Daviet family moved to Brush. Dorathy attended the Brush United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Joseph of Brush; 4 children, Carol "Rusty" Clothier of Littleton, CO, Connie Daviet of Englewood, CO, David Daviet of Greeley, and Nancy Hockley of Addy, WA; 1 brother, George Richard of Estes Park, CO; 2 sisters, Shirley Lord of Canon City, CO, and Beverly Midgett of Waves, NC; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Phyllis Folsom; 1 brother, John P. Richard. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2010, at the Brush United Methodist Church at 10:00 AM.
