Dorcus Roehrich, 70, of Wiggins, CO, passed away on July 2, 2022 surrounded by family.

Dorcus was born in Bowman, ND on June 27, 1952.  She was raised the third of five children by her parents, Lloyd and Fay (Helmenstein) Albers.  She attended school in Bismarck, ND.  Dorcus married Frank J Roehrich Sr, on June 1, 1968 who adored her for 54 years until her death.  Together they raised four children.
Dorcus was a stay at home mother until her youngest child entered elementary school.  From then on, she worked retail and food services until she retired in February of 2022.
For those of you who weren't lucky enough to get to know her, she was a strong, independent, kind, honest woman who did everything she could for her family and the ones she loved.  She was a one of a kind - referred to by many family and friends as "The General".  You just had to know her.
Some of Dorcus's hobbies were spending time with her family, quilting and sewing, gardening, raising her chickens, being a mom to her Dachshunds, playing a competitive game of cards, and enjoying her occasional glass of chocolate wine.

She is survived in death by her husband Frank Sr, her children, Kary, Frank Jr, Jamie, and Damon; grandchildren, Samantha, Courtney, Frankie, Austin; and a great grandchild, Brody, with another on the way. Our mom, grandma, and great-grandma will be deeply missed but our hearts feel some peace knowing she has joined her parents in heaven.
You will always be remembered and missed everyday as "To the World you are a Mother, but to the Family you are the World".

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 11, 2022 at Heer Mortuary, 225 East Platte Ave., Fort Morgan, CO, with visitation starting at 1:30 p.m.
