Doreen Mary Garlow, 93, died Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan. She was born March 29, 1921 in Concordia, Kansas to Lewis and Olive Key. She married Earl W. Garlow on September 2, 1941 in Concordia, Kansas. Doreen was a farm wife, a great cook, a seamstress, and a caregiver. She loved her family and was a devoted mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her children, Leona Mae Wasson, (Buddy), of Ft. Morgan, Earlene Lucille Huff (Ronald), of Denver, Mary Ruth Renner of Ft. Morgan, Sarah Marie Hermes of White Fish, Montana, Geraldine Anna Hays, of Yuma, Carolyn Sue Keller (Donald), of Akron, Connie Lou Larsen, of Akron, Jacklyn Kaye Burns (Daniel) of Lakewood, Patricia Lynn Martin (Kurt) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, one sister, Leota Lundblade of Broomfield, 30 grandchildren, and 45 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl who died in 1989, one son, Leroy William Garlow, two brothers, Ewing and Melford Key, four sisters, Birdie Senner, Leta Wright, Audrey Dazzio, and Margaret Eloise Rogers, and her parents. There will be a visitation on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 12 noon until 3 pm at the Heer Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Funeral Services will be Friday, November 14, 2014 at 2:30 pm at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan. Doreen will be buried, by her husband, at the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver on Monday, November 17, 2014.
