Doreen C. Magee, 76, former Brush resident, passed away December 2, 2006, at her home in Denver. She was born November 28, 1930, in Erlanger, KY, to Lonnie & Juanita Magee. She moved to Brush to live with her Mother, Juanita Denning, in 1938. and graduated from Brush High School in 1948. Following graduation, Doreen moved to Denver. She studied and became a Notary Public and served as Secretary / Treasurer for the Colorado Chapter of the American Massage Therapists Association. She become Assistant National Convention Co-Coordinator of that International Association. She enjoyed her work and succeeded in all endeavors that she pursued. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Jalbert, and her husband, Gary, of Denver; 1 brother, J. W. Magee of Butler, KY; 3 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, her aunt, Katie Brautigam of Brush; as sell as many nieces and nephews that lived in NorthCentral Kentucky and Abbotsford, B. C.., including Brenda Henry and her husband, Evan. Visitation will be at the Heer Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday 2 – 4 PM and Wednesday 10 – 12. Graveside services and interment will be Wednesday, December 6, at 1:30 P.M. at the Interment Chapel at the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
