Buhring
Sep 7, 1948 — Sep 20, 2022
Doris Darlene (Blazer) Buhring, 74, died of a car accident on September 20, 2022, at the St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado. She was born on September 7, 1948, in Limon, Colorado to Helen Blazer. Doris was married to Ronald Buhring on June 11, 1967. They celebrated 54 years of marriage before Ronald passed away in 2021. She worked in the service industry at nursing homes and restaurants before finishing her working days in retail. She enjoyed working at Walmart as a greeter which gave her the chance to talk to people in the community. Many people in the community knew her as the smiling face that greeted them, noticed she always had a flower in her hair, and knew she could be counted on to be at work rain or shine. Her hobbies included shopping for many hours and playing her scratch tickets. She loved her family, and you would often hear her say "I love you". Even during the beginning stages of her cancer treatments, she continued to work until she was no longer physically able to work. She went through more than a year of cancer treatments in Greeley and continued to fight as hard as she could. In the end the cancer spread throughout her body. In addition, to her mother, Helen Blazer, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Buhring, daughter, Darlene Kay Rodriguez, her granddaughter, Kylee Elizabeth Buhring, her sisters; Luella Faye Blazer, Della Mae Long Crier, and Donna Hutchesen, and her brother, Bill Blazer. She is survived by her brother, Tom Blazer, her sons; Ronald Dean Buhring and his wife, Erin Buhring (Cozad, NE) and Roy Allen Buhring and his wife, Tammy Torres Buhring (Greeley, CO), 8 grandchildren; Heather Martinez, Tosha Cox, Brandon Buhring, Anabelle Buhring, Erin Rodriguez, Jacob Buhring, Jeremiah Buhring, Dodson Buhring, and 2 great grandchildren; Elijah Martinez, Everett Martinez and many nieces and nephews.
