Doris D. Holder, 70, of Brush, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born August 22, 1937, to John & Florence Smith. She grew up in Brush and graduated from Brush High School in 1955. In 1970 Doris married Wallie Holder in Oklahoma. Because of nature of Wallie's job, he traveled to many different states and Doris accompanied him. She loved traveling and living in new places and did so for many years. In 1995 the Holder's relocated to Brush permanently. Doris had a wonderful sense of humor and brought laughter to everyone she met. She was very creative and loved crafting and crocheting. She was a long-time member of the Royal Neighbors and was always willing to help others in need. Survivors include her husband, Wallie, of Brush; one sister, Maryln Hanson of Brush. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Frank and Donald Smith and her parents. She is also survived by 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Family and friends are invited to a Life Celebration Service and reception on Monday, May 5, 2008, at the Brush Jaycee Building from 1 – 4 PM.
