Doris I. Janeway 92, Fort Morgan resident passed away Saturday at her home. She was born August 2, 1913, to Eugene & Anna Meredith in Spring Ranch, NE. She was raised on the Meredith farm south of Bushnell, NE. She attended school in Bushnell and Kimball, graduating from Kimball County high school in 1931. She attended college at Colorado State Teachers College in Greeley and later attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. During WWII she lived in Florida, Alabama, and Texas. During the last year of the war she worked in the accounting department of Fegela Construction Company (a war plant) in Denver. She later worked at the May department store in Denver. She married William Janeway on October 9, 1954 in Oklahoma. They made their home in Wichita Falls, TX intil moving to Fort Morgan in 1975. She loved her animals, collected dolls for many years and was a member of the Kibler DOll Club. Survivors include 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 brother, and her parents. A graveside service and interment will be held at Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan Wednesday at 1:00 PM.
