Doris Ann Kugler, 82, longtime area resident, died Saturday, January 8, 2019 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.

She was born February 24, 1936 to Vaughn and Thelma (Ames) Pollock in Kaycee, Wyoming.

She married Dean L. Kugler on September 22, 1956 in Douglas, Wyoming.

They moved to the New Raymer area in 1964.

Doris enjoyed bowling, painting, she liked to paint along with Bob Ross on TV, and in her younger years ride horses. She rescued stray animals. At one time she had eleven dogs. The rule was, if the stray that wondered in could leave the chickens and ducks alone, they could stay, if not she did not want them around.  Doris also found a baby antelope that she raised.

Survivors include, her husband Dean of New Raymer, children, Roy Kugler of Haxtun, Joe Kugler (Teena) of New Raymer, Jim Kugler (Carolyn) who live in Troy, Texas, and Jay Kugler (Rene) of New Raymer, grandchildren, Tom Kugler, Krystal Sears (Nic), Stephanie Tiffany, Jason Kugler (Lyndsay), Kolten Kugler, and Kayla Kugler, and 10 great grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by three brothers, Dave, Bill, and Bob Pollock, and her parents.

There will be a visitation on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan.

Funeral Services will be Monday, January 14, 2019 at 10:00 AM at The Sanctuary in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
