Dorothy S. Dytkiewicz, 74, passed away Thursday afternoon morning at the Sterling Regional Medical Center in Sterling, CO. She was born June 15, 1933, in Chicago, IL to Adam & Stephanie Marezak. On April 16, 1955, she married Al Dytkiewicz in Chicago. The Dytkiewicz family moved to Brush in 2005. Dorothy was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. She was a former Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed working in her garden and knitting. Survivors include her husband, Al, of Brush; 4 children, George Tokas, and his wife, Judy, of Minisee Valley, CA; Don Dytkiewicz, and his wife, Sue, of Kankakee, IL; Geri, and her husband, Karl, Dahle of Snyder, CO; and Michael Dytkiewicz, and his wife, Melanie, of Tabernash, CO; 4 sisters, Terri Woznicki, Alice Denning, Patricia Joyce, Francine Vainauskas; and 4 grandchildren, Derrick, Deanne, Emily, and Adam. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Peter Marczak and Joe Grajek. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, May 5, 2008, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 340 Stanford Street in Brush. The service will conclude at the church.
