Dorothy E. "Dottie" Thompson, 90, passed away on December 18, 2022. She was born in Gering Nebraska May 24, 1932 to Jacob and Martha Fabrizius Eiring.

She attended schools in Colorado and Wyoming as a youth.  Dottie moved to Fort Morgan in 1949, and met and married Harold E. "Tommy" Thompson on April 2, 1950, in Fort Morgan. Dottie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, watching sports, crafts, and cooking. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Fort Morgan.

Dottie is survived by two sons, Roger (Rose) of Eaton, CO, and Dwayne (Peggy) of Fort Morgan, CO; and one daughter, Lori (Kirk) Patterson of Fort Collins, CO; one half-brother, Donald (Anne) Eiring of Greeley, CO; and stepbrother, Howard Lewis (Alice) of Drake, CO; seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and ten great grandsons. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and some dear friends.

Dottie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tommy; son, Perry; sister, Lillian; brothers, Henry, Bill and Elmer; half-brother, Ronald; stepmother, Mary; and grandson, Brent Thompson.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan, CO on Friday December 23 ^rd at 10:00 am.  The service will also be available livestream by clicking the link below:
