Dorothy Marie Klauser 75 Longtime area resident, died Monday, March 26, 2007 at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Ft. Morgan. She was born June 2, 1931 in Ft. Morgan to Conrad and Elizabeth (Blum) Geist. She married Harry Klauser on February 27, 1949 in Ft. Morgan. Dorothy was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical Church and was in the Ladies Fellowship. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and the Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a member of the local Does Drove and a member of the Association of Retired RE 3 School District Employees. Dorothy enjoyed cooking, playing pinochle and gardening. She especially liked taking care of her flowers. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include, her husband, Harry of Ft. Morgan, two daughters, Patty Kembel and husband Ed of Ft. Morgan and Debbie Griffith and husband, Galen of Middletown, Delaware, brothers, Alex Geist, John Geist, Edward Geist, Raymond Geist and Donald Geist all of Ft. Morgan and Rueben Blum of Brush, sisters, Lydia Fulk of Ft. Morgan, Barbara Geist and Bonnie Geist both of Greeley and Ruth Mock of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, grandchildren, Katie Randklev and husband Brian and their sons Ethan and Owen of Burley, Idaho and Sarah Vogel and her husband Charlie and their daughter Rebecca of Burlington, Colorado and Maryann Griffith of Middletown, Delaware. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter, Mary Ann Klauser. Visitation will be Thursday, March 29th from 1 until 5 pm at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Funeral Services will be Friday, March 30, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Evangelical Church in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Immanuel Evangelical Church. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
