DOROTHY M. SPOTTS, 94, of Fort Morgan, died Monday afternoon, January 23, 2012 at Valley View Care Center in Fort Morgan. She was born in Sunol, NE on September 21, 1917 to Oscar & Flora (Adams) Rhine. She married Harold Spotts and they lived in Fort Morgan. Mrs. Spotts was a member of the Iris Society and the Doll Club. She enjoyed gardening, reading, music, and her family. Survivors include her three children, Jim Spotts, Gerry Holden, and Judy Ruppel, all of Fort Morgan; three sisters, Marie Sain of Gurley, NE, Thelma Jean Ruley of Hartselle, AL, and Arawana Fisher of Omaha, NE; her brother, Mike Rhine of Titusville, FL, 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Charlotte Ruley; her brother, Ed Rhine; her husband, and one great grandchild. Graveside services will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan on Thursday, January 26th at 2:00 PM.
