Dorothy Mae Watts 75 died July 28, 2007 at her home in Ft. Morgan. She was born December 25, 1931 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Charles and Virginia (Ring) Kappel. She married Donald Watts on October 7, 1950 in San Diego, California. Dorothy enjoyed various crafts including making hook rugs, sewing and especially liked shopping for antiques. Survivors include her husband Donald of Ft. Morgan, two daughters, Cheryl Ryan of Ft. Lupton, Colorado and Jennifer Tetreault of Fairplay, Colorado, one son, Zane W. Watts of Hamilton, Montana, two sisters, Maxine Cunningham and Dolores Whiting both of Colorado Springs, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1st from 10 until 5 pm at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Memorial Services will be Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 10:30 am at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Serenity Falls Columbarium. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
