Dorothy Jean Weber, 89, lifetime resident of Morgan County passed away peacefully on March 17, 2022.

Dorothy "Dottie" was born in 1932 in Fort Morgan to George and Marie (Gable) Loose of Wiggins and was the youngest of 10 children. She was raised on the family farm south of Wiggins and graduated from Wiggins High School with the class of 1951. Dorothy married the love of her life Norman "Norm" Weber, on August 31, 1952 during their time living in Honolulu Hawaii.

Dorothy and Norm built their life together in Fort Morgan, owning and operating Big T Super Market from 1978 to 1987. She enjoyed this time in her life as she loved the people and made many lifelong friends in the community. Dorothy then worked at Cattleco for seven years to her retirement in 1995. Aside from work, Dorothy's heart was truly in her family and home as she hosted many get-togethers, holidays, and family dinners. She and Norm also enjoyed Saturday nights at the Elks Lodge dancing with friends or "Cutting the rug to the Good Ones" as she put it. She also enjoyed league bowling, working in her home, volunteering at church activities, and was an avid Broncos fan as she never missed a game.

Dorothy was baptized, confirmed, and a lifelong active member of the Christ Congregational Church of Fort Morgan.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Norman Weber; infant son Donald Weber; her parents; her four older sisters and five older brothers. She is survived by her two daughters Debra Erker and husband Leon, and Donna Weber; three grandchildren, Michael Bernhardt and wife Kristen, Emily Bernhardt, and Alex Bernhardt. She is also survived by her many wonderful nieces and nephews.

No memorial service will be held, in accordance with Dottie's request.
