Wulf
May 29, 1943 — Jan 8, 2022
Dorothy Jean Wulf, lifetime resident of Morgan County, passed away Saturday January 8, 2022, at Poudre Valley Hospital, after being hospitalized for COVID-19. She was born on May 29, 1943 in Fort Morgan, Colorado, to David and Katherine (Knaub) Lauck.
Dorothy Lauck married Rodney Wulf, her high school sweetheart, on August 11, 1962, in Fort Morgan, Colorado. They moved north of Fort Morgan where they farmed and ranched until 2017, when they retired full time to Yuma, Arizona.
Dorothy enjoyed gardening and loved the outdoors. She loved to travel and was a member of the Good Sams Club; she and Rodney traveled to many fun places with their group. Dorothy served as a volunteer with the New Raymer Fire Department for 20 years. She also greatly enjoyed her role with Parents as Teachers, after spending several years caring for special older friends later in their lives. She was a member of the Fort Morgan United Methodist Women group, and dearly treasured spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Rodney Wulf; three children, Lisa Teeters and her husband Brian, Jodie Schoemaker and her husband Neil, and Troy Wulf and his wife Jami; six grandchildren, Lauren (Teeters) Dougherty and her husband Colby, Andrew Schoemaker, Kathryn Schoemaker, Ty Wulf, Ely Wulf and Bodie Wulf. Survivors also include two sisters, Lucille Amen and Carol Kerbel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Richard Lauck.
