Dorreen Mae Beck Mitchell passed away on November 20, 2009 due to multiple health complications. Dorreen was born on February 3, 1926 in Brush, Colorado to the late Adam and Lydia Beck. She remained in Brush until 1944 when she moved to Boulder, Colorado. She met and married the late Eugene N. Mitchell of Boulder in 1946. She worked for 20 years at the Boulder Senior Center, teaching ceramics. Dorreen is survived by her son, Douglas W. Mitchell of Broomfield, CO, her daughter, Connie L. Beagley of Holly Springs, NC. She has 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, her brothers Leslie Beck of Brush Colorado, and Pastor Robert Beck of Winter Haven, Florida. Funeral arrangements will be provided by Heer Mortuary 222 Cameron Street, Brush Colorado on November 25 at 1:30pm. Visitation will be one hour before at 12:30.
