Douglas "Doug" Earl Chenoweth, 58, passed away early Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born January 9, 1959, in Brush to Ray E. & Edith E. Chenoweth of Woodrow, CO.

Doug graduated from Woodlin School in 1978. He lived in the Woodrow / Last Chance community until 2000 when he moved to the Brush area. Doug was involved and enjoyed helping at the Howard United Methodist Church in Last Chance. When he moved to Brush area, Doug joined the Brush United Methodist Church where he was baptized and began volunteering and helping in many areas of ministry, including the Community Cupboard at the church. He also volunteered at the Blue Horizon helping kids ride horses. He also enjoyed playing Disc Golf and helping others. Doug will be remembered as friendly and loved to visit with everyone he came in contact with. He loved the Denver Broncos and listening to sports on the radio. Much of his time was spent enjoying his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his Mom, Edith E. Chenoweth; brother Rick (Sharon) Chenoweth; sister Karina (Jerry) Graulus; nephews & nieces, Greg (Kelly) Chenoweth & their kids, Trenton, and Adrienne Chenoweth, Zeque & Felicity Ward; Stacey Chenoweth, and Kyle Graulus. Also by his dogs, Sadie & Sophie; and several aunts, uncles, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his Father, Ray E. Chenoweth.
