Dovie Evelyn Hadden, 91, died Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Collier Hospice in Wheatridge, Colorado. She was born February 20, 1918 in Granby, Missouri to Joseph and Martha (Sullivan) Spencer. She married Leland Hadden in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Evelyn was a member of the Sanctuary in Fort Morgan. Mrs. Hadden enjoyed playing Bingo, sewing, embroidery, listening to Country and Gospel music, putting jig saw puzzles together and doing puzzle books. Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Pickett of Arvada and Linda Kuykendall of Springdale, Arkansas, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leland, one sister, Minnie Miller and one brother, Ted Spencer. Visitation will be Monday, September 28, 2009 from 5 until 7 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 10:30 AM also at the Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
