Duke D. Munsell, 56, passed away July 8, 2015, at his home in Littleton, CO. He was born April 17, 1959, in Broomfield, CO, to Donald & Phyllis Munsell. Prior to ill health forcing his retirement, Duke was an over-the-road truck driver. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed going to Black Hawk and Central City to gamble; ride motorcycles, and watching western movies, especially John Wayne movies. He enjoyed spending time with his friends. His favorite time was spent with his daughter and grandson, Jonathan. Survivors include 2 children Rusti Jo Munsell of Sterling and Donnie Munsell; his brother Ted Munsell of Colorado Springs, CO, 1 sister Jolene Chambers of Agate, and 1 grandson, Jonathan Xavier Reeves. He is also survived by his former wife, Garnett Walter. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 27, at 10:30 AM at the VFW Park in Brush. A lunch reception will follow the service. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Heer Mortuaries & Crematory.
