Eddie Lee Krehmeyer was born in Fort Morgan on November 17, 1962, to Betty and Francis Krehmeyer. He was joined by his brother, Duane in 1964, when the two became inseparable. His baby brother Rex joined the family several years later in 1981. By this time, Eddie was starting a new chapter in his life with Dawn Schafer. Soon to follow was his first-born, Levi, who was his pride and joy. He was then blessed with his first beautiful daughter, Misty, who gave him a whole new level of joy. Eddie and Dawn parted ways, and Eddie later married Gayla Hedgecock. Together they added another beautiful daughter, Mikaila to the family. Eddie's children meant the world to him, but his life was complete when he married his current wife, Christina. Together they lived a life filled with great love and friendship and shared many wonderful adventures. Eddie never met a stranger. He had a huge heart with love for all the people in his life, and would do anything for anyone. Eddie was a great athlete and enjoyed time outdoors. He had many memories of fishing with his father, brothers, and son. Eddie had a heart for the Lord and was an amazing mentor through worship. His life was not always easy, and he battled many demons, but his life always revolved around his family.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Christina; his children, Levi, Misty and Mikaila; grandchildren, Cooper, August and Nora; brothers, Duane and Rex; and many cousins, friends, and family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty; Father, Francis, infant brother Joey; grandparents, Alfred and Rae Krehmeyer, and Nacasia and Jose Sanchez.

Eddie went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2024, where he gained his wings and freedom.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Heer Mortuary in Brush at 2:00 PM.
