Edgar Dale Atwood Jr., 75, went to Heaven on April 12, 2014 at his home in Benkelman, NE where he lived for many years. He was born to the late Edgar Dale Atwood Sr. and the late Georgia Alice Hardy. He entered this life February 2, 1939 in Akron, CO. He was a farm hand most of his life. From November 1956 until 1962 he served in the Air Force, Army Guard, and Army Reserve as a cook. He loved fishing and hunting. Dale was preceded in death by brother, Howard, and Sister, Sarah. He is survived by two brothers, George from Benkelman, NE and Thomas Sr. from Boyertown, PA. He also had many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be greatly missed! A Funeral Service will be on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 1:30 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush.
