EDUWIGES RAMOS, 68, of Fort Morgan, died late Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at her home. She was born January 29, 1943 in Mexico to Valentine & Maria Angela (Hurtado) Ramos. She married Juan Ramos in Mexico on April 11, 1959. They moved to Fort Morgan from California nearly 20 years ago. Mrs. Ramos worked as a cook at Excel in Fort Morgan for 9 years. She attended Saint Helena Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and cooking. Survivors include her husband, Juan Ramos of Fort Morgan; seven children, Margarito Ramos of Woodrow, Maria Ramos of Pomona, CA, Severiano Ramos of Glendale, AZ, Gloria Ramos of Greeley, Juanita Hayashi of Highlands Ranch, Jaime Ramos of Fort Morgan, and Martha Diaz of Nebraska; her five siblings, Juan, Jacinto, Pablo, Evodia, and Ladia Ramos H. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mrs. Ramos was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Leopoldo. Visitation will be Sunday, May 22nd from 3 -5 PM with a Rosary Vigil beginning at 5:00 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Monday at Saint Helena Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the church followed by cremation.
