Ed Dempsey, 66, life resident of Morgan County, passed away September 5, 2021, at his home.  He was born May 27, 1955, in Fort Morgan to Charles & Mary Dempsey.

Ed served in the US Army in 1974.  Following his honorable discharge he worked as a rough neck in the oil fields and later as a welder at Mohrlang Mfg.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; 2 children Candis Walker & Angel Walker; 1 brother Bill Dempsey; 2 sisters Rose Spradlin and Carrie Horton; and 2 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Chuck & Pat; 1 granddaughter; and his parents.

At Ed's request no formal funeral service will be held.   A gathering of family & friends to honor Ed's life and share memories will be held Sunday, October 3, 2021, at 1:00 PM at the Brush VFW Memorial Park.   Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Heer Mortuary & Crematory.
