Edward Thomas Robinson, 57, of Fort Morgan passed away after a short illness on Sunday October 12, 2014 in Fort Morgan. He was born June 23, 1957 in Sterling, to Howard "Jack" and Naomi Eva Mollohan Robinson. Ed graduated from Sterling High School in 1975. Shortly after graduation, he met Terri Bayley, who he married on October 13, 1979. They moved to Log Lane Village in 1984 where they raised their children and where Ed continued to live until his passing. After working the oil fields for a time, he attended Morgan Community College and obtained a degree in electronics. He never left MCC. He was so skilled that they kept him around to work in the telecommunications department for the college. This work allowed him to reach out to the entire region through their distance learning program and the famous Channel 10. In his spare time he enjoyed DYI projects of any kind including home renovations and classic car repair. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Arlie and Roger Robinson, and sister Diana Joy. Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife Terri of Log Lane Village, Daughter Andrea and her husband Randy Levins of Chesapeake, VA, step-grandsons Andrew and Jackson Levins; son Christopher and his wife Jessica Robinson of Fort Morgan, granddaughters Lola and Juni Robinson. He is also survived by his sisters Sandra Hanson of Torrington, Wyo.; Rita Martin of Fort Worth, Texas; Nancy Land of Sidney, Neb., Susan Nestor and husband Kenneth of Merino; Stella Robinson of Lewiston, Montana; Marsha Swanger and Lloyd Bowker of Sterling, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the St. Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. The inurnment will be at Serenity Falls in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
