Obituary

Edwin J. Morman, 85, longtime Brush resident, died Tuesday morning at the Pathways Hospice Care Center in Loveland. He was born July 29, 1923 in Deertrail to Theodore and Delia Morman. His family moved to the Brush area in the 1930's. He served in the United State Army from 1948 to1949. After the service he returned to the Brush area where he worked for the Gene Milburn Conoco delivering gas and farmed for sometime. He worked as a welder for the Mohrlang Manufacturing Company for 20 years before he retired. He married Waldroyn Small Christensen March 5, 1965 in Brush. He enjoyed wood working and watching rodeo events, especially bull riding. He is survived by his wife Waldroyn of Brush, two stepsons; Albert Pribble and Terry Christensen both of Brush, 3 brothers; Arthur Morman of Chandler, AZ, Allen Morman of Lakewood, and Danny Morman of Mesa, AZ, 3 sisters; Viola Middlemist of Colorado Springs, Betty Sharp of Mesa, AZ, and Leona Chastain of Pinesbluff, Ark, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his stepson Danny Christensen, one brother Harold Morman and his parents. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Brush. The service will conclude at the Chapel.
