Elaine Adams, 90, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born November 8, 1917, in Richfield, NE, to Max & Josie Roelle. On May 1, 1935, Elaine married Dale R. Adams in Hugo, CO. The Adams farmed in Lincoln & Washington County for many years. They also ran a restaurant in Last Chance for several years while continuing to operate their farm. After they retired, the Adams moved to Morgan County. Elaine was a member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working on the family farm and in her garden. She will be remembered from her great sense of humor. Survivors include 1 son, Richard of Jerome, ID; 1 sister, Dora Keegan of Denver, CO; 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great – great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, 1 son, Kenneth, her siblings, and her parents. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 5, 2008, at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Lutheran Church at Eben Ezer. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. The family would like to say "thanks to the staff at Eben Ezer for the loving care to all those who knew Elaine as "Grandma". The Heer Mortuary is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
