Elaine E. Ronne, 80, passed away early Friday, June 4, 2010, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born October 25, 1929, in Denver, to Lawrence & Elda Smith. Elaine attended Asbury Elementary School, Grant Junior High, and Graduated from South High School. Her two daughters also attended all of these schools. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed getting other people to laugh. A very accomplished artist, Elaine especially enjoyed pencil drawing. While living at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center she attended the All Saints Lutheran Church. Survivors include her daughters, Kendal Nelson of Genoa, and Robin Simpson of Santee, CA; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Larry, and her parents. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at the All Saints Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM. Concluding services and interment will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Denver at 3:00 PM.
