Eleanor C. Krueger, 79, life resident of NE Colorado, passed away Monday, June 29, 2009, at her home. She was born July 14, 1929, in Prospect Valley, CO, to Paul & Katherine Pope. She graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1947. On September 4, 1949, Eleanor married Martin Krueger in Fort Morgan. Eleanor was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She participated in many activities within the church. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and working many handcraft items, including sewing and cross-stitching. Survivors include her 2 sons, Stan & Steve both of Hillrose; 1 brother, Alfred Pope of Fort Morgan; 1 sister, Mary Lou Neblett of Platteville, CO; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 brother, Jerry, and her parents. Funeral services will be Friday, July 3, 2009, at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 603 Custer Street in Brush. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 – 5 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Brush. Friends who wish may memorial gifts to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church c/o the mortuary.
