Eleanor Miller Talton, 96, died early Monday, March 19, 2007, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born July 24, 1910, in Bergenfield, NJ.to Frank & Mary Miller. She attended college at Trenton State University, the University of Chicago, and graduated from Columbia University with her Bachelor of Science degree. She taught elementary school for several years before marrying Robert J. Talton, an Air Force Officer on June 8, 1942 in Denver. The Talons made their home in Bergen County, NJ, until 1968 when they retired and moved to Orlando, FL. Robert died in 1993. In 2001, Eleanor moved to Brush to be closer her daughter. Survivors include 2 daughters, Marya Medlock of Orlando, FL, and Polli Dahms of Fort Morgan; 2 grandsons, and 5 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service to celebrate Eleanor's life will be Friday, March 23, 2007, at 10:00 AM at the All Saints Lutheran Church at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush.
