Ellen E. Orth, 90, longtime Morgan County resident, passed away December 11, 2013. She was born July 6, 1923, in Akron, CO, to Charles & Florence Cummins. Ellen married Albert Orth on November 6, 1948, in Scottsbluff, NE. She was a member of the San Arroyo Club, and the Colorado Cattlemen's Association. She loved working on the family ranch. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking, and gardening. Survivors include her 2 daughters, Janet Schneider of Windsor, CO, and Joan Brock, and her husband James of Claremore, OK; 4 grandchildren, Adrianne Bostic and her husband, Shane, Brian Schneider, Jennifer Harsh, and Jami Olsen, and her husband Jonathan; and 5 great grandchildren, Kaycee, Brady, and Emerson Bostic; Grace & Judah Haller. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sisters, Lois & Opal; 2 brothers, Wayne & Melvin; and her parents. Funeral services will be Friday, December 27, 2013, at 11:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
