Elvira Marceleno Franco, 68, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 after a long battle with cancer in Greeley.
She was born July 29, 1949 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Julian and Victoria (Marceleno) Franco.
She was a member of Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan.
Elvira enjoyed cooking, dancing, telling stories, watching the Broncos, and in her earlier years playing softball.
She loved her family and they were very important to her especially her children.
Survivors include, daughter, Angela Vasquez of Greeley, son, Israel Franco Perez of Greeley, brothers, Raul Franco of Wichita Falls, Texas, Victor Franco (Mary) of Fort Morgan, Richard Franco of Pueblo, and Joe Franco (Marylou) of Wichita Falls, Texas; sisters, Celia Franco of Loveland, and Angela Garcia of Wichita Falls, Texas; four grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Elvira was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicky Franco, sisters, Otilia Franco, and infant sister Celia Franco, brothers Julian Franco Jr., Johnny Franco, and Felix Franco, and sisters-in-law Velma Franco and Celia Franco.
There will be a Rosary Vigil Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, May 7, 2018 at 10:00 am at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
