Emma Reider, 105, of Fort Morgan, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Valley View Villa. She was a resident of Fort Morgan for the past 64 years.

Emma was born October 8, 1913 in Scottsbluff, NE to Jacob & Eva Marie (Keller) Becking. She was united in marriage to Rinhold Reider in Scottsbluff on November 12, 1932. They lived in Bridgeport, NE and raised four children before settling in Fort Morgan.

Emma was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She also did housecleaning for prominent citizens in the community. Emma especially enjoyed crocheting, bowling, and cooking.

Survivors include her two daughters, Dorothy Frick of Kersey, and Sharon Edwards (Jim) of Fort Morgan; one son, Ronald Reider (Judy) of Fort Morgan; four grandchildren, Dorothy Kimsie, Linda Schreiber (Brad), Tammy Dahl, and Brian Edwards, seven great grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, and three great-great-great grandchildren.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; her son, Bobby; three sisters, Marie Martin, Esther Schanhols, and Eleanor Betz; and two brothers, Jake Becking and Albert Becking.

Emma was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Morgan since 1955. Services will be held at the church, 800 Sherman Street in Fort Morgan on Friday, October 26th at 11:00AM with Rev. Timothy Storck officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan.

Memorials may be made in Emma's name to Trinity Lutheran Church.
