Enid Lynette Erie, 67, of Wellington, Colorado died Saturday, February 10, 2007 near Snyder, Colorado. Enid was born in Snyder, June 8, 1939 to Richard and Bessie (Hastings) Williams. In her youth she was a member of 4-H and graduated from Snyder High School in 1957. Enid married Kenneth James Erie on June 14, 1959 in Snyder. He died on February 14, 1997. They owned and operated Skate Haven, a roller skating rink in Missoula, Montana from 1973 until the late 1980"s. She moved to Wellington, Colorado in 1999. Enid was an active member of Wellington Community Church where she taught Sunday School and was an AWANA leader. Enid was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. She belonged to "The Fabricators", a local quilting club and also enjoyed embroidery, knitting and crocheting. Enid enjoyed searching genealogy and gardening. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. Enid is survived by her daughters, Lynette Robinson of Wellington, CO and Christine Erie - Scarloss of White House Station, New Jersey; her sisters, Joyce Seifert of Greeley, CO, Linda Scott of Snyder, CO and Cathie Nix of Wiggins, CO. and two brothers, Richard and David, both of Snyder and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one brother, Virgil Williams. A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Wellington Community Church, 8445 3rd St, Wellington, CO. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at the Brush Memorial Cemetery, Brush, CO. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at the Heer Mortuary, 222 Cameron, Brush, CO from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Memorial gifts may be given in Enid's name in care of the Heer Mortuary, 222 Cameron, Brush, CO 80723. Heer Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
